HairBlock is packed with clean, high-performance ingredients that do the heavy lifting without the heaviness. We designed it to lock in moisture, fight breakage, boost shine, and create a silky, invisible shield between your strands and the elements.

HairBlock uses UV filters (Octocrylene, Avobenzone, and Ethylhexyl Salicylate) to further protect your hair from UVA and UVB exposure. We chose these high-performing chemical filters because they’re lightweight, leave no residue, and play nicely with textured hair - unlike some mineral-based alternatives that can leave a white cast or dry the hair out. 
Is HairBlock safe for the environment?

We chose UV filters that are reef-compliant and widely regarded as safer alternatives to banned actives like oxybenzone. Our formula is lightweight, effective, and designed with both your hair and lifestyle in mind - including time spent near the water. That said, we’re keeping a close eye on evolving research and are committed to continuous improvement as cleaner, reef-friendlier innovations become available.
